Visit a few VC websites these days, and you'll notice a sea of sameness in their messaging.
Here are a few that stand out:
Describe venture investing to a 5 y.o? Checked.
Hemingway readability grade 1? Checked.
Their whole website is a masterclass in storytelling.
Addressing the BS in the industry and leveraging their name for an authentic narrative.
All done with great gusto.
Great copy makes you stop and ponder.
Societal pressures? What?
It's how you know they have something to say, and it's not another set of vc cliches.
Subtle dunks on the industry fads won't hurt as long as their are consistent with the general thesis and vibe.
The last sentence is just brilliant.
Most repeat how helpful they are ad nauseam.
Stride makes one punchy point and lets you infer the rest.
